Brunswick Juventus FC have announced they have received a $10,000 funding grant from the Victorian State Government.
The club received the money to assist the club in becoming a premier female football club, increasing participation levels and enhancing gender equality.
The funding came through the Labor Government’s ‘Change our Game Program, with Club Captain Cindy Lay and Treasurer Rob Sturma recently getting the chance to discuss with Labor Member Anthony Cianflone around the importance of the funds.
Female football initiatives will be accelerated and will drive cultural change on and off the park.
Brunswick Juventus FC were also one of 26 clubs to progress to the next stage of the National Second Division process – on the men’s front.
