Clubgrants Category 3 Infrastructure Grants for September are now open as offered by the NSW Government.
This funding allows local NSW communities the chance to thrive by supporting the building, renovation and fit-out of infrastructure. Those involved in sport and recreation and arts and cultural infrastructure can receive a grant that goes towards assisting communities with essential infrastructure and disaster readiness. Local football clubs have the opportunity to grow on their current resources.
Given the high demand, the NSW Government has included a standalone community infrastructure category. It features multi-use community facilities such as halls and meeting spaces, community transport options, improvements to disability or community welfare infrastructure, infrastructure that supports youth, mental health, homelessness, and domestic violence services. Those who support community facilities impacted by drought and bushfire are also eligible.
Applications for Infrastructure Grants will close 5PM (AEST) on Monday 12 October 2020. It is competitive, with the program getting more applications than what can be supported and may lead to partial funding as an alternative, so it’s advised to submit the application early.
You can view the Infrastructure Grants program guide here, while more information can be found from the NSW Government about how to apply and making sure you meet the criteria during the application process.
