Football Victoria is supporting the Change Our Game Professional Development Scholarships Program for 2024-25, an initiative that strongly aligns with its dedication to enhancing the roles of women in sport.
The Change Our Game Professional Development Scholarships Program, led by the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation, is designed to empower women at various stages of their careers, offering them opportunities to develop and lead in the sports sector. The program features six unique streams to cater to the diverse needs of women in sport:
- Learning Stream: For those at the beginning of their careers or returning after a career break.
- Next Generation Leaders Stream: For individuals aiming to become CEOs or senior executive leaders.
- Women with a Disability Stream: For women with disabilities in regional Victoria seeking career advancement in the sport and recreation sector.
- Executive Stream: For current CEOs or those directly reporting to a CEO.
- Governance Stream: For new or aspiring board directors in the sport and active recreation sector.
- Community Leaders Stream: For women volunteering or working in community sport and recreation to enhance their leadership skills.
