Spanish top-flight football league LaLiga have partnered with leading football media platform OneFootball, in an effort to expand its digital audience and engage with fans globally – particularly young, mobile-using followers of the game.
Founded in 2008, OneFootball was established to cater for an increasingly digital football landscape and reinvent how fans across the globe can interact with and consume content related to the sport. The company work with partners to deliver outcomes beneficial to both clubs and fans, through feed personalisation, data analytics, streaming services without the subscription, and seamless advertising designed to not interrupt the in-platform experience. Since its establishment, OneFootball have grown to a community of over 100 million fans worldwide, built through their innovative approach to, among other things, sales, OTT, publishing and brand solutions.
LaLiga is set to become the first ever league to use its official OneFootball account to share and distribute news, interviews, match reports and statistics, and exclusive matchday highlights, in both Spanish and English. Fans of the league will be able to personalise their home feed to never miss a story or video, and keep up with the continuous action of LaLiga, all day every day. The Spanish football giant will join over 130 other clubs and federations who are already using OneFootball to publish content.
